Clients From Hell

I do believe that lots of other freelancers, developers, and designers have faced various type of clients. I maybe just working with few clients, not as much as others. However, the clients from hell is a type of client which most of us don’t want to work with.

Personally, I like these 10 quotes from Clients From Hell site. Basically, there is a collection of anonymously contributed client horror stories from designers on the site.

“When I search for my name on Google, page 49 shows naked women. Can you change that?”

“The site can be built with PHP or Web 2.0″

“I don’t want a logo, I just want you to write the name of the product in Arial.”

“It’s missing some professionalism. Can you add some?”

“Rather than choosing one of the layouts you presented, I’d rather have the site look different for each visitor. Preferably like their favorite website. I know that sounds tricky… But you can get that information from their bookmarks, right?”

“I notice that you’re charging by the word, but some of the words are really short, like ‘a’ or ‘is’. I only want to pay full price for words that are six letters or above.”

“I have a friend over at Google Ireland who can give me some good prices.”

“I’m not trying to be cheap, I just don’t have that much money.”

“In the interests of working together, I would appreciate it if you could do this free of charge.”

“We would like it if every web page on our new site had an option to download as a PowerPoint, so users can read the page on their computer.”
