Science and Engineering Design Exhibition (SEDEX) or also well-known as Engineering Design Exhibition (EDX before this) is one of the main academic activities conducted at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) as a platform mainly for university students and staffs to present their innovations and creative ideas.
Usually, SEDEX will be held in two days time. For this semester, SEDEX 28th edition was held on 10th August and 11th August 2011. For this semester, Rofans and I team up and competing in Open Innovation Challenge (OIC) category.

We aimed for GOLD medal in OIC category but somehow, maybe lack of luck, we only got SILVER medal. Hehehe. 
However, thanks God for giving me an opportunity to get at least a medal during my time in UTP. Alhamdulilah 
Some of my friends did ask, “How can you enter SEDEX? Do you take FYP this semester? Blablabla…” So, the answer is, I’m taking FYP2 next semester, and what we did was taking my FYP to compete in different category which is OIC category.
The title of my final year project (FYP) is Map Mashup for Halal Industry in Malaysia. I will write more about my FYP in the next post. The funniest thing that happened to me in two days of this exhibition was people do not believe that I’m a final year student. They said that I must be in first or second year. Maybe I’m too cute to be a final year student. Hahahaha.
