Last week, I shared some css hacks on how to fix the BlueBubble theme. And today I want to share about how to fix the author comment highlighting in BlueBubble theme. By the way, thanks to Thomas Veit and Mike Walsh for creating this simple, minimal and elegant wordpress theme.
While testing the BlueBubble 3.5 wordpress theme, I found out that when someone replied to an admin’s comment, his comment also got highlighted as well. You may refer to the screenshot bellow.
When the admin replied to a comment, the comment and avatar background will be filled by grey color. However, Tester 1′s comment also is highlighted just like an admin’s comment when he replied to the admin and Tester 1 is absolutely not an administrator for the tested blog.

BlueBubble is one of the free, minimal and elegant wordpress theme for simple portfolio and blog. This theme was made by Thomas Veit and Mike Walsh. And I’m using this theme for this blog as you can see.
However, some features or styles of BlueBubble theme seems to be broken. Some of the css maybe not tuned well. So, here i would like to share some hacks that i did to make it looks perfect (at least for me).

One of my friends asking me about the term of web specialist. What are the differences between web developers and web specialists? And why do I choose to use the word specialist?
Web Developer Job Description
IMHO, the duties and responsibilities of a web developer largely depend on the employer and the pre-requisites of the project but most of them are quite same. Some of the tasks are:
- To design / develop website or web applications
- To design / develop relational database systems
- To perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- To monitor web server and site technical performance
The web specialists also do the same tasks with the web developers. So, why do I choose to use the word specialist? Because it sounds very exclusive! LOL!
